Veehd says You need the Codec-C Plugin to watch this video??

I used to use and like veehd a lot but havent used it in a while, there are a few videos i noticed there today i want to watch but it says 'Veehd says You need the Codec-C Plugin to watch this video' which it never did before. I've got all the latest paid for divx software so I just wondering is this ok what veehd want you to download, or has it turned into one of those dodgy sites like divxvine did?

They've put that in for non-registerred users. If you register/log in you aren't required to install any bollocks. I'm guessing they had to do this for money, though tbh i'm surprised they've done that as they always seemed like they were in it for the video users and not the money (unlike all the other hosts these days) so perhaps they were in major need of the cash, or they realised how risky it is to do naything copyright related on the net these days and they wanted to make it more worthwile

but yeh, log in and you can watch anything you want, otherwise you'lkl have to install it. don't know what it is though

I don't use VeeHD, But I did see this when I googled "what is the veehs codec-c?"

If you really want to watch to something on it and the video allows embeding, the embeds dont require you to install anything so you can copy the embed url and watch that

If I put the url in an open browser window it pulls up the embed
but hangs on buffering..
