Loose Change 2nd Edition was originally released December 11, 2005. It is essentially an improved, higher quality version of the original Loose Change. The 2nd Edition Recut version was released in June 2006. The 2nd Edition Recut replaces the original Loose Change opening sequence with a timeline of events leading up to 9/11/2001 and elaborates more on certain parts of both what happened leading up to that day and on that historic day itself.

The timeline is followed by the opening credits, which segues into the Pentagon section. From there we deal with the events of 9/11 as they occurred, summing up the film with the information that came out after the events.
