I love reading.
Just finished reading Michael Crichton's "NEXT", it was frightening what they are experimenting on in the manipulation of genes and DNA. I also just finished Brad Thor's "The Last Patriot" I like light reading in the evening when my eyes and brain give out from the computer. I like Thrillers and the Occult. I forgot how much I liked Ann Rice's books on the Giants, have there been any sequels recently? I mostly think of her for her "Vampire Lestat" books, which I enjoyed a long way back. I will definitely be looking into the "Servant of the Bones" series.

Thanks for all of the good recommendations.

Conn Iggulden: "The Emperor; The gods of war" (The Emperor IV).
Great novel (actually four novels) about the life of Gaius Julius Caesar.
If You like historic novels try this. :)

if you like fantasy, vampires and a lot of action then i can recommend this book to you
the described genre sounds like nothing new ... but you ll be surprised
it had a good story but they could have made more out of it or at least go a bit deeper into it
the fights and action overwhelmed a bit
but still i couldn t stop reading
i m looking forward to the next volume :thumbz:

I've been reading a lot of true crime lately- it's a guilty pleasure.

LowLife: Life in British Prison with Drug Dealers, Gun Runners and Murderers. this was the last good book I read. It's about a guy who goes to prison in Britain and all of the different characters he meets. It's quite dark but a good read still. Some of the people are just bizarre- he meets a guy who was selling machine guns and hand granades to other criminals and a cannibal who cut somebody's leg off and ate it and he really tries to get into thier heads and understand them.
