Batman Begins is probably my favorite, because it really shows how Bruce Wayne evolved into Batman. And I'm a sucker for tech toys :grin:

Tim Burton's Batman(the first one with Michael Keaton) is probably the closest to "second place", for me. There are many things I didn't like about it, but I did like the portrayal of the Joker when I was younger. That made playing a villain almost better than playing a "pretend" Batman. (Now, though, I see Jack Nicholson's Joker as over the top with the antics and even though Heath Ledger's Joker is more like a graphic novel version, I really think he did a great job playing him)

yeah the first Michael Keaton film is a classic, i think it will be remembered the longest out of them all, as it took batman to the dark world we love and out of the camp world of the TV series

So true! What we were getting a sampling of in the graphic novels, was finally realized on the big screen, and it became an instant classic.

I think I like the first one most, followed by Batman Begins. These two are the darkest and most serious of the series and thus closer to the dark atmosphere of the comics.
The following movies were more and more colourful and stupid until they reminded me more of a bad trip on a carnival than an actual batman movie.

Batman Begins definitely. I'm a major sucker for a good origin story. Good Blade Runner vibe. And I loved the way they tried to ground everything in reality.
